Introduction to Industry 4.0
Course Description
After completing this programme the participant should have a basic understanding of the terms, concepts and technologies that make up industry 4.0. This programme is intended to introduce industry 4.0 to bring the layperson up to date on emerging technologies and explain their usefulness to industry.
During class you will be taught about key technologies such as:
- The internet of things (IoT)
- Cyber physical systems
- Smart manufacturing
- Cloud computing
- Artifical intelligence

Prerequisites
This is an entry level programme for individuals without previous experience in Industry 4.0 technologies.
