Celebrating ESF+ Training Success Across the Region
2026 has been a fantastic year for our ESF+ funded programmes, with learners and businesses across the Northwest embracing opportunities to upskill, develop new capabilities and prepare for the future.
The recent ESF+ funded programme reached full capacity and received excellent feedback from participants who highlighted the practical value of the training in supporting design, engineering and manufacturing workflows.
Our SolidWorks Essentials ESF+ course
All the iteration of the programme have reached full capacity, helping participants develop critical CAD and 3D modelling skills that are increasingly in demand across manufacturing and engineering.
Participants highlighted how the training enabled them to work more effectively with assemblies, tooling designs and modelling projects while building confidence in using SolidWorks in their day-to-day roles.
Industrial Electrical Systems ESF+ course in Manorhamilton
Also this programme reached full capacity, reflecting the continued demand for practical electrical and automation skills within industry.
Participants particularly valued the hands-on elements of the programme, including troubleshooting, reading electrical schematics, working with three-phase motors, building circuits and strengthening their understanding of industrial electrical systems.
Diploma in Project Management (Level 7) ESF+ Online course
Another major success this year was our Diploma in Project Management (Level 7), which reached full enrolment capacity.
The programme received outstanding feedback from participants, who highlighted the value of project planning, scheduling, scope management, stakeholder engagement and Microsoft Project skills that could be immediately applied in the workplace.
The success of these programmes demonstrates the importance of industry-led training that responds directly to employer needs and helps businesses remain competitive, innovative and future-ready.
We would like to thank all participants, employers and training partners for their continued support.
We look forward to securing further funding opportunities in 2027 so that we can continue helping even more businesses develop the skills needed for future growth.
