Job Title: Network Administrator
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (to 31 December 2026, with potential for renewal)
Reports To: Network Manager
Location: Manorhamilton Co Leitrim
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience (€35,000 – €40,000 per annum)

Role Summary
Industry 4.0 Skillnet is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Network Administrator to support the day-to-day operation of the network.
This is a hands-on, data-driven role in a structured and regulated environment, involving training coordination, finance and procurement administration, reporting, systems management, marketing support and customer service. Accuracy, consistency and compliance are critical to success in this role.
The Network Administrator will work closely with the Network Manager and Director to ensure programmes are delivered efficiently, compliantly and to a high standard for members, funders and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for training programmes and events, including bookings, data entry, documentation and feedback collection
- Manage finance and credit control activities, including preparing quotes, issuing invoices, tracking payments and supporting financial reporting
- Support procurement processes, funding applications, audits and compliance requirements in line with Skillnet Ireland and EU (ESF+) guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and input data into the Skillnet activity management system (Sonraí), ensuring data quality and KPI reporting
- Manage shared inboxes and day-to-day communications, responding to queries or escalating as appropriate
- Support marketing and communications activities, including creating content for social media, newsletters, posters and event materials using Canva, and updating website content
- Liaise with training providers, member companies and partners to ensure smooth programme delivery and a high standard of customer service
- Support the coordination of events, meetings and promotional activities
- Handle personal data with discretion and professionalism, ensuring GDPR compliance at all times
- Carry out ad hoc administrative tasks as required to support the wider team
What we are looking for
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in administration, training coordination, education, audit, compliance, marketing support or programme administration
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with data-heavy and repetitive tasks
- Experience working in a regulated or process-driven environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confident building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft 365; experience with WordPress and Canva an advantage)
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information and personal data
- Full driving licence and access to a car, as public transport in the area is limited
Desirable Experience
- Experience in education, training, audit, compliance, quality assurance or funded programmes
- Familiarity with publicly funded initiatives and compliance-based reporting
- Experience coordinating events or supporting account management activities
- Experience using Sonraí, LMS, CRM or similar systems
- An interest in education, skills development and Industry 4.0 / digital transformation
